Becoming a Member
Becoming a member of Star Rising Church is more than joining a congregation—it’s entering into a spiritual family united by faith in Jesus Christ. As a family we are committed to growing in love, service, and purpose. At Star Rising, membership means saying “yes” to being part of a Spirit-filled community that worships God, enjoys learning the Bible, offers healing and deliverance , prays and cares for the hurting, and grows in the love, joy and peace of the Holy Spirit! It’s a declaration that you’re ready to belong, to be equipped, and to actively contribute to the life and mission of the church—locally and nationwide by ZOOM or phone.
Q: What inspired the name 'Star Rising'?
In Revelation 22:16, Jesus Christ is 'the Bright Morning Star!'.
He is the promise that every dark night will end ... and a new bright day will begin (Proverbs 4:18, Lamentations 3:22-23)
Attendance
Attending church regularly helps us stay spiritually grounded, deepens lasting relationships, and provides opportunities to grow in love, patience, forgiveness and unity with others through grace in Christ. In consistent fellowship, we encourage one another, walk side by side in faith, and experience God’s presence together as His family.

Join In God’s Work At Church As You Are Able
God’s Word calls believers to faithfully serve and use their gifts to bless others, beginning with the church family. Loving others through service gives you the opportunity to share your God-given talents, deepen your purpose, and actively participate in God’s work within His church so that others are able to experience the love, power and grace of Jesus Christ.
Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

Giving

A: Not at all! Everyone is welcome—whether you’re a member or not, you’re invited to attend, participate, and grow with us.
*Can I be part of other ministries and Star Rising Church?
A: Yes! We believe in partnering with what God is doing across His Kingdom. As long as Christ is exalted, we celebrate your involvement in other ministries.
*Can I still become a member of Star Rising Church if I only attend by Zoom or phone?
A: Yes! We welcome members who participate virtually through Zoom or by phone. While in-person fellowship is a blessing, we understand that some are not able to attend physically due to distance, health, or life circumstances. What matters most is your sincere commitment to grow in Christ, connect with the church family, and participate in the life and mission of Star Rising Church—whether near or far.

A: Becoming a member of Star Rising Church means joining a spiritual family committed to growing in faith, serving others, and worshiping God together. While everyone is welcome to attend and participate, members commit to regular involvement, giving, and using their gifts to help build up the church. Membership deepens your connection, whether you join us in person or online. It’s a way to belong fully, grow spiritually, and actively contribute to the church’s mission locally and regionally.
